Hi, I'm Nicole Zhang, one of the cofounders of LeafedUp, and have always been passionate about my impact on the environment. I have two cats and my favorite past times are volunteering, going out with my friends, and traveling the world. My favorite tree is the Beach Plum as it flowers and fruits elegantly. Being apart of the creation of this organization has been one of the most meaningful experiences I've had to so far and I can't wait to watch how much further we will go!

Maya Funatomi - Marketing Director

Hi, I'm Maya Funatomi, and I'm so excited contribute to LeafedUp and making a difference. Outside of school and volunteering, I enjoy playing the violin, fencing, and spending time with my friends. My favorite native tree is the Sweetbay Magnolia because of its beautiful, fragrant flowers that bloom in the summer. I'm so grateful to be apart of this team and can't wait to grow our impact.

Zeebana Muqtadir - Volunteer Coordinator

Hi! I'm Zeebana, and I'm so excited to be part of a team that's passionate about protection our environment. In my free time, you can usually find me listening to Charli XCX, participating in DECA, traveling with my family, or cooking new foods for my friends to try. My favorite tree is the olive tree! Fun fact, olive trees can live for thousands of years and have long symbolized peace, hope, and resilience! I'm really looking forward to helping make a positive impact on our planet while encouraging others to do the same.

Faith Lee - Head Event Coordinator

Hi! I'm Faith, and I'm so undeniably grateful to have this opportunity to be part of a motivated team that strives to improve our environment. In my free time I love to sing opera, compete in debate, and hang out with my two pet dogs! My favorite native tree is the Flowering Dogwood (they blossom beautifully in the spring). I'm excited to help play a role in caring for our Earth, and hope to inspire others as well.
